Designing marks and logos are a great way to excersize your conceptual muscles as a designer! During my years at Sandia National Laboratories, I designed several marks that were used to provide an association with a product, service or event.

Above: The mark for Thunderbird UI, Sandia's enterprise design system, merged two symbols in a wing and bolt.

Above: The DEVX team is a development team within the UX Solutions organization at Sandia. The "X" here was intended to stand on its own in certain contexts.

Above: The team hosting the 2023 Azure Summit needed a mark and logo to promote their event. I wanted to convey a technological concept integrated with the silhouette of a mountain summit.
